Narrated Art: show what you know with media (Mapping Media to the Curriculum Book 2)
Narrated art projects combine a digital image with an audio recording, and are among the most straightforward and simple in the “Mapping Media” framework. Narrated art projects are excellent technology integration projects for students and classroom teachers because they are fast, involve non-digital preparation, can be differentiated, can be publicly aggregated (collected automatically on a website), are recorded (not live), and leverage the simple (but often untapped) power of recorded audio. This chapter of “Mapping Media to the Curriculum” provides examples, workflows, available tools, and tips for facilitating narrated art projects in the classroom.
This is an eBook single, initially published in 2013 as a chapter of "Mapping Media to the Common Core: Vol 1."
